When everything goes wrong and everyone says you're wrong. And you try your best to hold on. Well I don't think you're wrong. Well do you feel alone? And who do you always listen to at the party when everyone's there standing still? When you don't know who to talk to so you still just sip on your beer slowly wait for someone to ignore you so you can finally go home.
But you won't. You'll just stare into space. Oh it's fine you'll say just a bad day. But it wasn't bad. It wasn't bad at all. Took a nap, read a book, and thought about who you'll listen to at the party when everyone's there standing still. When you don't know who to talk to so you still just sip on your beer slowly wait for someone to ignore you so you can finally go home.
But she stood there and made her way next to you. Said I like your shirt. Hey I like yours too. Talked for hours and didn't look away. Oh this was who you listened to at the party when everyone was standing still. You knew just who to talk to so you still sipped on your beer waited for her to get in your car so you could finally go home.
